Description akarypid 2024-09-08 12:16:16 UTC
As per the comments in the extension page:

  https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/307/dash-to-dock/

Complaints about performance/memory leak since 26th August (which I have also experienced) to which the author response is:

> The leak should have been fixed few days ago by version 95.

I have updated to the latest version manually and can confirm that my performance issues are gone. See:

  https://universal-blue.discourse.group/t/psa-performance-bug-in-gnome-bundled-extension-dash-to-dock/3932/1

A new RPM with extension version 95 should be rolled out.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Nothing needed. As long as extension is running you will see degrading performance over time

Actual Results:
Lots of errors logged in journal system log and degrading performance.

Expected Results:
No errors in system log and consistent performance
