Description Jason Montleon 2024-09-22 21:06:15 UTC
Please branch and build python-py in epel10.

If you do not wish to maintain python-py in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-google-auth/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: jmontleon);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-websocket-client/adduser

More info: It is my understanding python-py has been dropped in RHEL 10:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2313896#c2

Reproducible: Always

I can confirm that python-py was dropped from CentOS 10, indicating that it probably won't be included in RHEL 10.

Thomas - could you respond? I need this as well (FAS: orion).
