Is a process named `DiscoverNotifier` running in the test rig when the problem happens? If it is, does the expected icon appear in the system tray's popup? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3) > Is a process named `DiscoverNotifier` running in the test rig when the > problem happens? > > If it is, does the expected icon appear in the system tray's popup? The openQA tests use the official Fedora KDE build, in this case it is the https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/2905508/asset/iso/Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-41-20240925.n.0.iso. We only use the ISO file "as is" to install Fedora and perform the testing on it. If it contains `DiscoverNotifier` and if it is set up to be running, it should be running. To see if the service runs in that ISO, I will check manually in a VM and will report back here. In the above mentioned ISO, I cannot find any running process with the name `DiscoverNotifier`. ps aux | grep does not return anything useful on "DiscoverNotifier", "discovernotifier", "Discover", "discover", "Notifier", or "notifier". FEDORA-2024-03ddcbc5f8 (plasma-discover-6.1.90-2.fc41) has been submitted as an update to Fedora 41. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-03ddcbc5f8 FEDORA-2024-03ddcbc5f8 has been pushed to the Fedora 41 testing repository.
