LightDM prints the "failed to start a greeter" message when booting after a recent upgrade.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.execute `sudo dnf upgrade`
2.reboot

lightdm is working fine, it's the greeter that is failing to start.
It is likely to be a driver issue, maybe you should look for more info it xorg logs and dmesg, then you can reassign to the correct package.
Slick-greeter is working fine here, using amd or nvidia hardware on f41, I wont be revisiting this report.

Sorry. My bad. This was due to the corrupted /etc/environment file having edited for some stuff.
