Description Robert Scheck 2024-10-07 23:18:18 UTC
Description of problem:
https://pjb.com.au/comp/lua/readline.html returns a domain parking website only.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
lua-readline-3.3-5.fc41

How reproducible:
See above.

Actual results:
Upstream of lua-readline seems to be gone.

Expected results:
Figure out whether upstream moved to somewhere else or whether there is a fork.

Additional info:
Prosody depends on lua-readline, thus retiring the package isn't a good idea.

It seems like upstream passed away: https://social.mcwhirter.io/@craige/113163999592836231; I summarized my findings in the upstream tracker at https://gitlab.com/peterbillam/pjb_lua/-/issues/3

Comment 2 Michel Lind 2024-11-13 18:57:53 UTC
Thank you! Interestingly the download URL is still valid, but we should probably at least replace the URL with https://peterbillam.gitlab.io/pjb_lua/lua/readline.html which still works
