Description Xavier Bachelot 2024-10-12 10:19:32 UTC
Hi,

Could you please branch and build oneVPL for EPEL 10 ?
It is needed to build another package.

Regards,
Xavier

oneVPL as found in Rawhide rebuilds fine in EPEL 10.

Ping. Can someone branch and build oneVPL in epel10?
The Fedora rawhide package builds on epel10 without any changes.

If you do not wish to maintain oneVPL in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS tdawson);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/oneVPL/adduser

Hi, the package has been built already for EPEL 10 in August.

Please note that it's called "libVPL" and not "oneVPL", upstream has renamed the project and we followed a few months ago, as also "subprojects" follow the same nomenclature (ex. libvpl-tools). Binaries are here:

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=39644

Source is here:

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/libvpl

For obvious reasons "libvpl" still provides "oneVPL" for now.

I've retired the package sorry, it was not retired.
Thanks.
