Description Xavier Bachelot 2024-10-15 10:42:07 UTC
Hi,

Could you please branch and build freexl for EPEL 10 ?
It is needed to build another package.

Regards,
Xavier

I’ll be happy to do this once all dependencies are available.

No matching package to install: 'mingw32-expat'
No matching package to install: 'mingw32-libcharset'
No matching package to install: 'mingw32-minizip'
No matching package to install: 'mingw64-expat'
No matching package to install: 'mingw64-libcharset'
No matching package to install: 'mingw64-minizip'
No matching package to install: 'minizip-ng-compat-devel'

I can disable the MinGW subpackages for EPEL10 until/unless they become available (there is already a mingw bcond in the spec file for this), but the minizip-ng-compat-devel dependency is unavoidable.

Please file an EPEL10 request for the minizip-ng package and set it to block this one.

I can’t tell if there are any issues with your suggestion https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/minizip-ng/pull-request/10 or not, but I can report that it builds in mock, and (with https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/freexl/c/b65dea126148a7e06c2bd304e3b275da2334598f?branch=rawhide to disable the MinGW subpackages) I would be able to build freexl as soon as minizip-ng was branched and built.
