Description Orion Poplawski 2024-10-16 04:16:48 UTC
Please branch and build libnsl2 in epel10.

If you do not wish to maintain libnsl2 in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/libnsl2/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: orion).

It appears to build fine: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=124872867

Reproducible: Always

Now you have the commit rights, so feel free to branch and build it. But I am wondering why do you need libnsl2 because this is a copy of libnsl with NIS support. So if you are not planning to build NIS in EPEL10 then you shouldn't require libnsl2.

Thank you. This is for tcp_wrappers which requires the NIS support at the moment.
