After installing Fedora 41 I found that my Mediatek MT7922 WiFi/BT mini-pci card wasn't working right. BT was working, but WiFi was only using 2.4Ghz band. It turned out the binaries for the card were present in /lib/firmware/mediatek, but they were still compressed (.zx).

Specific firmware binaries:
WIFI_MT7922_patch_mcu_1_1_hdr.bin
WIFI_RAM_CODE_MT7922_1.bin
BT_RAM_CODE_MT7922_1_1_hdr.bin

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Fedora Workstation 41 (GNOME)
2. Install latest updates...
Actual Results:  
Mediatek MT7922 worked poorly, but kernel driver was installed:

Expected Results:  
Mediatek MT7922 should allow for use of 5 and 6Ghz band use.

After decompressing said binaries, giving them executable permissions and rebooting, everything worked fine.
