Description Andre Robatino 2024-11-04 17:03:33 UTC
The "Release notes" link on the "About Thunderbird" window doesn't work because it needs to contain "esr" but doesn't. For example, my "Release notes" link points to https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/128.3.3/releasenotes/?uri=/thunderbird/releasenotes/&locale=en-US&version=128.3.3&channel=release&os=Linux&buildid=20241022212703 which is wrong and gives a "There's Nothing Here" page. If I replace "/128.3.3/" with "/128.3.3esr/" as follows, then it works: https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/128.3.3esr/releasenotes/?uri=/thunderbird/releasenotes/&locale=en-US&version=128.3.3&channel=release&os=Linux&buildid=20241022212703

This was also broken in F40, for example it was mentioned in a comment in https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-5b8cfa7937 .

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on "Release notes" link on the "About Thunderbird" window.

Actual Results:
"There's Nothing Here"

Expected Results:
Should show the Release notes page.

This should be fixed with the update to 128.4.0, see also https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-2b2993a69d#comment-3801114
