Please branch and build gnome-common in epel10.

If you do not wish to maintain gnome-common in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/gnome-common/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: salimma);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/gnome-common/adduser

Will you be able to branch and build gnome-common in epel10?

The EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package
if you do not to build it on epel10.

I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: salimma).

s|epel-packagers-sig|gnome-sig as this would really make sense to have the GNOME SIG comaintain

Hi Michel,

which package needs gnome-common in EPEL 10? We don't have it in EPEL 9 nor EPEL 8.

See the bugzilla dependency tree -- libindicator needs this, which eventually is needed by the GNOME appindicator extension.

gnome-common is not in EPEL 8 and 9 because it used to be in the base OS

I'm sorry, I forgot. You are right. I see that salimma has built it today and added it to an update.
