Description Michel Lind 2024-11-07 19:16:37 UTC
Please branch and build antlr4-project in epel10.

If you do not wish to maintain antlr4-project in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/antlr4-project/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: salimma);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/antlr4-project/adduser

This has such weird dependencies, I'm so sorry in advance :(

report[p]['build'].keys()
Out[126]: dict_keys([None, 'swift-lang', 'stringtemplate4', 'antlr3', 'icu4j', 'string-template-maven-plugin', 'jakarta-json', 'treelayout', 'mojo-executor'])

Comment 2 Jerry James 2024-11-07 19:31:21 UTC
I have granted collaborator access for epel* branches to epel-packagers-sig, and admin access to you personally. I assume you are going to want some of the dependencies in epel as well? You can probably avoid swift-lang, but will need the Java dependencies.

I'm curious. What's heading for epel that needs antlr4?

thank you! well... everything that depends on golang-github-google-cel, which unfortunately means most of the remaining golang-x-* that I have not managed to package yet, which blocks fzf, golang-github-facebook-time, and most non trivial apps :(

I'm going to start filing bugs for the dependencies now

Comment 4 Michel Lind 2024-11-08 18:10:56 UTC
Jerry - I sent a PR to gate Swift support to Fedora only for now, please take a look when you have time, thanks!

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/antlr4-project/pull-request/2

(No rush, I can chase the other dependencies first - I'll probably start a COPR too)

Comment 5 Jerry James 2024-11-20 23:20:36 UTC
I think I gave you permission for everything. Let me know if I missed something.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle.
Changing version to 42.
