A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's netfilter component, specifically within the `nf_reject_ipv6` module. This vulnerability arises when the system attempts to process an IPv6 packet where the network device's header length is unexpectedly zero, leading to a kernel crash. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted IPv6 packet, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) on the affected system.
