Description Marko Myllynen 2024-11-18 11:30:16 UTC
Please consider adding the python3-libdnf package to the default Fedora installation so that Fedora systems can be automated with Ansible "out of the box". Currently, the package is not installed by default and it is not possible to add additional packages and then configure further Fedora systems before installing python3-libdnf somehow.

While it is technically possible to install python3-libdnf with Ansible using the raw module and running dnf directly it would be much better experience and more consistent e.g. with CentOS and RHEL to allow the Ansible "dnf" and "package" modules work with should an extra step which many users may not be even aware of.

Thanks.

Reproducible: Always
