I've advised the upstream maintainer Retired in F44+. I’ve prepared https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rust-pore/pull-request/4 to remove the dependency in stable/EPEL branches. (Well, EPEL9, anyway. I don’t think I’ll touch EPEL8.)
