Description Romain Geissler 2024-12-08 13:49:03 UTC
Hi Carl,

It seems python-multidict is a dependency of aiohttp, which in term seems to be required for quite some interesting/popular packages, like uvloop or black, however it seems no one asked for it yet, so it doesn't seems it's an urgent request at the moment. I didn't reply to our mail exchange yet, but let's say I changed a bit my mind and I am ready to start experimenting on a small number of packages at first, and will try to involve Amadeus a bit more in EPEL/Fedora package maintenance. Would it be possible to add me as co-maintainer for this package once I will have all my account setup, so I can actually implement this ticket myself, with your help ?

Checking right now, python-multidict builds and installs file in EPEL 10. If you agree with the above, this would be my very first official package release for EPEL 10.

Cheers,
Romain

Thanks for the karma on the update to get it pushed out. I went ahead and added you as a co-maintainer as well.
