While it is not true that the referenced bz contains more information at this point in time, the fix is in https://cgit.ghostscript.com/cgi-bin/cgit.cgi/mupdf.git/commit/?id=b5c898a30f068b5342e8263a2cd5b9f0be291aac which is in mupdf 1.25.0 and later.
