It looks like this package’s dependencies are compatible with numpy 2 (at least to the extent that they built with it successfully in the F42 mass rebuild), but this package still isn’t. I don’t know what can be done to ship a usable package without significant upstream progress on https://github.com/NeuralEnsemble/elephant/issues/652 or a heroic and impractical amount of patching. After stasmodels had been rebuilt for NumPy 2.x it turned there were other issues. I'm inclined to wait and see if upstream comes with a fix in time before this package gets retired. It's a leaf package. If it gets dropped, it won't impact any other packages. Should a fix become available at a later stage, we can perform some necromancy.
