I’m trying to bring Pydantic to EPEL10. This is a test dependency for python-inline-snapshot, which is a test dependency for python-pydantic-core. I opened https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-pytest-subtests/pull-request/6 to update this package to the latest release, and I confirmed that the contents of that PR build properly in EPEL10. I’m willing to co-maintain this. This comment is part of the process for stalled EPEL requests, https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-policy/#stalled_epel_requests; the next step would be a releng ticket, if there is no response at all in two more weeks. @Fabian: Friendly ping for this request. Per the process for stalled EPEL requests, https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-policy/#stalled_epel_requests, I opened a releng ticket requesting commit privileges in order to branch, build, and maintain this package in EPEL10: https://pagure.io/releng/issue/12534 After all that, it turns out that python-pytest-subtests is in CRB[1], but the version is rather old and didn’t satisfy the version bounds in my dependencies, and I failed to investigate closely enough to notice that it was present at all. I apologize for going through this entire process without figuring that out. I will make things work with the package that is already available.
