25.2.0.2 is headed to rawhide, does that have the same issue? Gwyn, Thanks for responding. I'm not sure what you're asking me, is the a potential dup bug report that I should look at? Regards, George... I just mean that there's a new version available. Run sudo dnf upgrade --refresh. Once you have libreoffice 25.2.0.2 installed, try opening Help again and see if it works. Gwen, Sadly, ooffice is failing. What now? Best regards, George... Does this happen in Writer, Calc, and Impress? Gwyn, What I'm using is the equivalent to the Microsoft XL Spread sheet. Thanks for your help! George... Gwyn, I abandoned the possibly damaged spread sheet and started over with a copy of an older spread sheet. The problem persists. Argh! The stack trace is gone now but I'm noticing another problem now. In the spread sheet I'm working on are what you call cells. I have a narrative in each row in the same cell of each row. The narrative has now run together into one big long line. Should I make a new bug report for this? Best regards, George... That sounds like you need to turn on Text Wrapping. Gwen, Thanks for trying to help with this bug. I believe that the proper indication of a problem is NOT a memory dump... Error messages are more helpful too. Best regards, George... This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle. Changing version to 42. I was able to make ABRT generate a better stack trace: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2360760 *** Bug 2360971 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 2362279 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Just a quick note: this is fixed in 25.8.0.0 for Rawhide, while in 25.2 branch it is planned for 25.2.4. |
