Description Jos Collin 2025-02-05 12:37:57 UTC
Description of problem:
Incremental sync fails switching the source to remote dir_root when the previous snapshot is deleted during the incremental sync progress.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
8.1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Do incremental sync.
2. When the incremental sync is in progress, delete the local previous snapshot.
3. This would produce non-identical source and destination snapshots.

Actual results:
Non-identical source and destination snapshots.

Expected results:
When the local previous snapshot is deleted, incremental sync should switch the source to remote dir_root and continue the sync.

Moving to ON_QA as this was fixed incidentally in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2317735

Feel free to adjust status as desired with that information. :)
