We found the culprit on this line:
"sed -e 's/@VERSION@/%{blender_api}/g' %{buildroot}%{macrosdir}/macros.%{name}"
which should be
"sed -i 's/@VERSION@/%{blender_api}/g' %{buildroot}%{macrosdir}/macros.%{name}".
