Need this to propose freeze exception for F42 Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 42-beta by Fedora user salimma using the blocker tracking app because: Fixes two CVEs - https://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2025/02/26/2 see also rhbz#2329250 and rhbz#2345159 for the CVE bugs filed against F41 +5 in https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/blocker-review/issue/1777 , marking accepted. This has been granted a freeze exception, but the F42 update [1] contains much more than just the approved new version of emacs, so I'm not going to pull it in ATM. If there's good reason why I should, please tell me, thanks. Just for F42, if you want to push it through the Beta freeze. Please note that I'm not completely sure if we *need* to push it through the freeze. Emacs doesn't seem to be in a default installation of at the least the most common Fedora Editions, and updates-testing is enabled by default, which means all pre-release users should receive this CVE fix anyway. Sorry, hold your horses, Adam just requested the current Bodhi update to be pushed as is [1]. So no change is necessary ATM.
