FEDORA-2025-8af495bc2d (fex-emu-2502-1.fc42, rust-binfmt-dispatcher-0.1.0-2.fc42, and 1 more) has been submitted as an update to Fedora 42. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-8af495bc2d Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 42-beta by Fedora user dcavalca using the blocker tracking app because: This updates the stack for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/FEX. In particular this includes a bugfix for the binfmt wrapper and several improvements to muvm. We'd like to get this in by the Beta so that users will test against what will actually ship. Discussed on 2025-02-24 in a blocker review meeting [1]: !agreed 2347328 - AcceptedBetaFE - This is shipped by default by Fedora KDE ARM, and doesn't pose a risk to anything major, so we're fine with giving it a freeze exception.
