COSMIC is in the alpha state, and updates are pushed monthly. In order to keep the Fedora 42 COSMIC spin up-to-date during this process, since major bugs are often fixed in these releases, we should update Fedora 42 to the latest alpha.

Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 42-beta by Fedora user ryanabx using the blocker tracking app because:

 COSMIC is in the alpha state, and every new update fixes major bugs and improves stability. It's important for the Fedora 42 spin to be up-to-date on the latest alpha/beta prior to major version release.
