Same here. Should it be obsoleted by the main package or -webengine? Does it matter? (In reply to Sandro from comment #0) > Support for webkit (python3-qt5-webkit) was removed from python-qt5 recently > [1], but the subpackage has not been obsoleted in the spec file. The missing footnote: [1] https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-qt5/c/42b715a2b6526c6e19c4ca7e4ece39f51f3e22de?branch=rawhide (In reply to Orion Poplawski from comment #1) > Same here. Should it be obsoleted by the main package or -webengine? Does > it matter? I think the package that formerly provided it (python-qt5) should obsolete it, unless python3-qt5-webengine is meant to replace webkit. But the source of that package (pyqtwebengine) hasn't changed. I happily leave the final decision to the maintainer. FEDORA-2025-b2c394df4a (python-qt5-5.15.11-4.fc42) has been submitted as an update to Fedora 42. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-b2c394df4a FEDORA-2025-b2c394df4a has been pushed to the Fedora 42 testing repository.
