Description
Upstream Release Monitoring
2025-03-15 01:11:00 UTC
ABI unchanged but SONAME bumped, so this will need to go into a side-tag with rebuilds of dependencies. Releases retrieved: 1.25.6 Upstream release that is considered latest: 1.25.6 Current version/release in rawhide: 1.25.4-1.fc43 URL: http://mupdf.com Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/ More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Upstream_Release_Monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream. Based on the information from Anitya: https://release-monitoring.org/project/2034/ To change the monitoring settings for the project, please visit: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/mupdf Releases retrieved: 1.26.0 Upstream release that is considered latest: 1.26.0 Current version/release in rawhide: 1.25.4-1.fc43 URL: http://mupdf.com Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/ More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Upstream_Release_Monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Based on the information from Anitya: https://release-monitoring.org/project/2034/ To change the monitoring settings for the project, please visit: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/mupdf While mupdf 1.26.0 builds in fedora in principle, it makes a test fail in PyMuPDF which hints at a problem in mupdf rather than PyMuPDF or its test. Known and reported upstream. 1.26.x series will have to wait for a fix. Releases retrieved: 1.26.1 Upstream release that is considered latest: 1.26.1 Current version/release in rawhide: 1.25.4-1.fc43 URL: http://mupdf.com Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/ More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Upstream_Release_Monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Based on the information from Anitya: https://release-monitoring.org/project/2034/ To change the monitoring settings for the project, please visit: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/mupdf While mupdf 1.26.1 fixes the issue mentioned in comment #4, there is no fully compatible PyMuPDF release yet. So this will be on hold a bit longer. Releases retrieved: 1.26.2 Upstream release that is considered latest: 1.26.2 Current version/release in rawhide: 1.25.4-1.fc43 URL: http://mupdf.com Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/ More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Upstream_Release_Monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made.
