Please branch and build apt in epel10.0.

If you do not wish to maintain apt in epel10.0,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS: jonathanspw);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/apt/adduser

Unsure how the sub releases epel10.x x=0, 1, 2 ... works.

Can you explain how to build for epel10.0?

From your clone request the epel10.1 branch

git request-branch epel10.1 --no-auto-module

merge, test, build, release.

I genuinely don't know if you can still request a 10.0 branch at this stage but 10.1 is current release.

epel10.0 seems frozen, 10.1 build is coming up soon

(git is ever growing, but fedpkg has not merged into git yet I think :-)
