Hi,

Please branch and build nagios for EPEL 10.
The nagios-common subpackage at least is needed for nsca and nrpe.

For what it's worth, I've built the nagios el10 packages we need (x86_64 only) in COPR repo loveshack/nagios.  I could do more if helpful.

Tested on AlmaLinux 10.
No issues found, works as expected.
Please push to the main epel10 channel.

FEDORA-EPEL-2025-30c2799d2c (nagios-4.5.9-1.el10_1) has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 10.1 stable repository.
If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report.

I've only been able to test it now and unfortunately it doesn't work for me, see followup bug 2372423.

Sorry, my bad.
Just noticed, I have tested Nagios agent side, e.g. nrpe, nagios-common and nagios-plugins* packages.
Nagios server side - not tested.

Why isn't this released into 10.0 stable ?
