Comment 1 Richard Shaw 2025-06-06 20:50:28 UTC
Unless someone else wants to support it, I don't plan to branch BackupPC as the upstream developer "disappeared" in the last couple years and there has been no activity.

@hobbes1069 There is a new maintainer now and lots of activity. Please reconsider packaging for EPEL10 - BackupPC remains a very much used and active package.

+1 as there is a new maintainer for BackupPC

Comment 4 Fritz Elfert 2025-11-17 19:20:27 UTC
+1 from me. The new maintainer is quite active.

Comment 8 Jamie Burchell 2025-11-18 11:15:34 UTC
It appears the test failed due to dependency issues?

I am unable to test, I am using Rocky Linux v10.0 and the package is not available in EPEL testing as far as I can see.
