Will you be able to branch and build bfs in epel10? Hi
> Will you be able to branch and build bfs in epel10?
Yes, I'll do that right now. Thanks for reminding me.
Branch requested: $ fedpkg request-branch epel10 https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/76774 FEDORA-EPEL-2025-7e71075e97 (bfs-4.0.6-1.el10_1) has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 10.1. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2025-7e71075e97 FEDORA-EPEL-2025-7e71075e97 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 10.1 testing repository. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2025-7e71075e97 See also https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for more information on how to test updates. Thank you! Could you please also branch it for EPEL 10.0 as EPEL 10 is built against minor versions of RHEL and it’s going to be a while before RHEL 10.1 is out? That's a bit confusing, to be honest. When I built on the "epel10" branch, I expected it to be for EPEL 10 (10.0); I wasn't aware of 10.1. Anyway, the branch has been created, and I'm building the package right now. Thanks for letting me know. $ fedpkg request-branch epel10.0 https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/76789 .... $ fedpkg build Building bfs-4.0.6-1.el10_0 for epel10.0-candidate Created task: 134024954 Task info: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=134024954 .... FEDORA-EPEL-2025-0984fb1c8d (bfs-4.0.6-1.el10_0) has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 10.0. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2025-0984fb1c8d It is, I agree. The practice is a departure from EPEL 9 and isn’t well publicised. Thank you again for the good work. FEDORA-EPEL-2025-0984fb1c8d has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 10.0 testing repository. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2025-0984fb1c8d See also https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for more information on how to test updates. FEDORA-EPEL-2025-7e71075e97 (bfs-4.0.6-1.el10_1) has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 10.1 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report. FEDORA-EPEL-2025-0984fb1c8d (bfs-4.0.6-1.el10_0) has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 10.0 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report. |
