dnf upgrade on Fedora 42 failed because of transaction error:

Transaction failed: Rpm transaction failed.
  - file /usr/share/Macaulay2/Core/factory from install of Macaulay2-1.25.05-1.fc42.x86_64 conflicts with file from package Macaulay2-1.24.11-1.fc42.x86_64


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. dnf upgrade -y

Actual Results:
Transaction failed: Rpm transaction failed.
  - file /usr/share/Macaulay2/Core/factory from install of Macaulay2-1.25.05-1.fc42.x86_64 conflicts with file from package Macaulay2-1.24.11-1.fc42.x86_64

Expected Results:
dnf upgrade installs updates.

Sorry about that.  Can you please try the build in comment 1 and let me know if that fixes the issue for you?  Check the entire update for packages you have installed and update them all together to avoid issues with the new normaliz library.

FEDORA-2025-36d75d51e6 has been pushed to the Fedora 42 testing repository.
