A vulnerability has been identified in Moodle, the open-source learning management system. The flaw lies in an insufficient capability check, which fails to adequately restrict which authenticated users can access other users' recently accessed course information. This oversight could lead to unauthorized information disclosure, potentially revealing user activity patterns or course enrollment details that should otherwise be protected.

Versions affected: 5.0, 4.5 to 4.5.4, 4.4 to 4.4.8, 4.1 to 4.1.18 and earlier unsupported versions
