Spec URL: https://rathann.fedorapeople.org/review/gstreamer1-plugins-bad/gstreamer1-plugins-bad.spec
SRPM URL: https://rathann.fedorapeople.org/review/gstreamer1-plugins-bad/gstreamer1-plugins-bad-1.26.2-3.fc43.src.rpm
Description:
GStreamer is a streaming media framework, based on graphs of elements which
operate on media data.

This package contains plug-ins that aren't tested well enough, or the code
is not of good enough quality.

Renamed from gstreamer1-plugins-bad-free, because the source tarball doesn't need to be stripped anymore.

A package rename request should be made by the maintainer of a package, it is NOT a means to hijack a package maintained by someone else.

Comment 2 Dominik 'Rathann' Mierzejewski 2025-06-21 13:41:44 UTC
I don't want to take on any more packages. This is not a malicious attempt. The intent was to reassign it back to you after it's renamed. My apologies for making it look suspicious and not mentioning this to you. I remembered we discussed this in the Multimedia SIG and simply wanted to make it happen sooner.
