Description Hemant Gouni 2025-07-21 01:40:18 UTC
⋢ (U+22E2) and ⋣ (U+22E3) display instead as ⊏̸ and ⊐̸ (without the straight line below the symbol). This occurs only in Liberation Mono, and not in e.g. Liberation Sans.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open gedit.
2. Preferences -> Fonts & Colors -> Editor Font -> Liberation Mono Regular
3. Copy and paste ⋢ and ⋣ to observe that they do not render correctly.
Actual Results:
The glyphs are rendered incorrectly; see https://i.ibb.co/C53FRtm4/image.png.

Expected Results:
The glyphs render without the horizontal line at the bottom; see https://i.ibb.co/jvL2pz2B/image.png.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 45 development cycle.
Changing version to 45.
