To build this, we require all these 4:

libdbusmenu
libayatana-appindicator
libayatana-ido
libayatana-indicator

And some dependencies in EL8 are so old that it would require to disable some functionality. These are all abandonend and deprecated libraries, so I would avoid backporting them to an OS which is in maintenance mode.

The only software I know that uses them is the proprietary spotify client, which does not run on EL8 (glibc too old); may I ask for what do you need this?
