Please fix axel at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
axel will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 44,
axel will be retired, if it still fails to build.

This should be fixed by adapting the minimum gettext version in configure.ac:


axel_2.17.14-2_amd64-20250717T135342.717Z
BH: Fails due to AM_GNU_GETTEXT_VERSION
configure.ac has AM_GNU_GETTEXT_VERSION([0.11.1]), but AM_GNU_GETTEXT_VERSION 
was only introduced in 0.11.3.
Debian needs to change that line.
