Description Fedora Release Engineering 2025-07-30 14:59:06 UTC
libssh failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f43

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=135217305

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_43_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix libssh at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
libssh will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 44,
libssh will be retired, if it still fails to build.

For more details on the FTBFS policy, please visit:

Ugh. The same code worked just last month. Now it fails only on s390x. Is there any known issue?

For now trying the verbose rebuild to see whats up with this failing test:

Comment 5 Jakub Jelen 2025-07-31 07:27:13 UTC
Manual rebuild passed above so I will try just to rerun the build as it sounds to me like some broken build machine or something as it is not reproducible in the scratch build.

The manual rebuild worked so it was likely just a fluke:
