Many tests hang indefinitely. I opened an upstream discussion for this, a prerequisite to filing an actual issue. Perhaps they will have some insight. https://github.com/encode/httpx/discussions/3616 Hello. This is a bulk comment. This package still needs to be rebuilt and/or shipped with Python 3.14.0rc2+ bytecode in Fedora 43. The Beta Freeze of Fedora 43 is scheduled to start today. Please prioritize this bugzilla accordingly. Thanks. I've been looking into this one, but haven't yet figured out a solution to get a working build with tests. If anyone can offer assistance on this one I'd be happy to take it. Until upstream gets the tests working, I think it's best in the short term to skip a chunk of the tests to get a successful build and clear this FTBFS. https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-httpx/pull-request/9 FEDORA-2025-dbd3eb6ee6 (python-httpx-0.28.1-8.fc44) has been submitted as an update to Fedora 44. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-dbd3eb6ee6 FEDORA-2025-dbd3eb6ee6 (python-httpx-0.28.1-8.fc44) has been pushed to the Fedora 44 stable repository.
