xvinfo output
i have the same problem with fedora core 6 using xorg-x11-drv-i810-1.6.5-10.fc6. When play some videos (ogm, ogg) show a blue screen. When i change the driver, in xorg.conf, to VESA, i can see the video ok. In other machines, with nvidia no problem occurs. i forgot to say that i use kaffeine. With Noatun no problem occurs. I guess, that's more xine component rather than us. Just to be sure, could you please attach /var/log/Xorg.*.log and /etc/X11/xorg.conf as separate uncompressed attachments to this bug (see "create attachment" link below), please? I put the file (id=155735) with packages updates (since 2007/05/11) in machine, because i play the video with sucess now. Wonderful! CLosing this bug then. What is wonderful? I just tried in Fedora 7 and it is not fixed. Please mark it as open instead. Please try the latest git revision. It has fixes for such bug. Latest git driver has been built for rawhide: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/packages/xorg-x11-drv-i810/2.0.0/4.fc8/i686/xorg-x11-drv-i810-2.0.0-4.fc8.i686.rpm Should work fine on F7 as well; give it a shot, if it works I'll push it to F7 updates. Yes, please push it for F7 Based on the date this bug was created, it appears to have been reported against rawhide during the development of a Fedora release that is no longer maintained. In order to refocus our efforts as a project we are flagging all of the open bugs for releases which are no longer maintained. If this bug remains in NEEDINFO thirty (30) days from now, we will automatically close it. If you can reproduce this bug in a maintained Fedora version (7, 8, or rawhide), please change this bug to the respective version and change the status to ASSIGNED. (If you're unable to change the bug's version or status, add a comment to the bug and someone will change it for you.) Thanks for your help, and we apologize again that we haven't handled these issues to this point. The process we're following is outlined here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/F9CleanUp We will be following the process here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping to ensure this doesn't happen again. This bug has been in NEEDINFO for more than 30 days since feedback was first requested. As a result we are closing it. If you can reproduce this bug in the future against a maintained Fedora version please feel free to reopen it against that version.
