Description Ahmon Dancy 2007-05-10 17:26:04 UTC
I recently upgraded my /tftpboot/pxelinux.0 file from 3.08 to one from the fc5
syslinux-3.10 package. Since then, some of my systems hang after attempting to
perform the "localboot" option. Upgrading to syslinux-3.11 from FC6 fixes this
problem.

Possible explanation: The release notes for syslinux-3.11 says: "PXELINUX:
revert memory allocation change that caused problems on some network cards."

Suggested solution: Update the FC5 syslinux package to be the same as the FC6
syslinux package.

This matter can be closed as far as I'm concerned since it works in FC6.
