Description Daniel Rusek 2025-09-23 18:18:46 UTC
Please consider updating the appstream-data package for Fedora 43. The last proper update was in March - more than 6 months ago.

There are new GNOME Core apps in GNOME 49 (Fedora 43) and they need their AppStream metadata updated in order to display correctly in Software. Also, there are other metadata changes/fixes that would be nice to have in F43 out-of-box.

By the way, considering how crucial part of Fedora the AppStream metadata are, it would be *great* if it was possible to periodically regenerate them automatically - without Richard having to manually trigger the rebuild every time.
