Description Terje Rosten 2025-09-28 19:08:04 UTC
Description of problem:

ganglia needs libart_lgpl to build in epel10, could you please add package
to epel10?

Comment 1 Terje Rosten 2025-09-28 19:12:23 UTC
Current package in rawhide seems to build in epel10:

Comment 2 Yaakov Selkowitz 2025-09-28 19:25:38 UTC
The latest ganglia sources show no actual build or runtime dependency on libart_lgpl, so AFAICS this dependency is obsolete and should be removed from the spec file.

Also, the ganglia spec should also be updated to use pcre2 for `0%{?rhel} >= 10` (which requires a few modifications).

Comment 3 Terje Rosten 2025-09-28 19:34:01 UTC
Yep, I have ported spec to epel10, thanks for heads up about libart, seems correct indeed, one less dep is always welcome :-)
