GDB doesn't need commit f87a66db645caf8cc0e6fc87b0c28c78a38af59b since it patches binutils/objdump.c. GDB does not link with or include this file or a transformation of such in its build in any way.

Therefore, I'm closing this bug w/ CLOSED/NOTABUG.
