Based on the date this bug was created, it appears to have been reported against rawhide during the development of a Fedora release that is no longer maintained. Description of problem: The following little file causes gs to terminate with an error: __i686_get_pc_thunk_cx = __i686.get_pc_thunk.cx .section __i686_get_pc_thunk_cx ret The problem is with the .section line. The use of a macro deeply disturbs gas. The above use is very useful, though, and should be enabled. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): binutils-2.17.50.0.12-4.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1.gcc -c inputfile.S 2. 3.
