For FC42, this new package of Firefox 144.0-1 is not yet in testing/stable but only available in koji. It runs fine at first, but after some time (less than an hour) it always crashes eventually. Sometimes just the current tab, sometimes the whole browser. It's not really usable.
I'm running X11, not Wayland.
All previous versions up to and including 143.0.4 work fine and are rock-solid.
I haven't figured out how to reproduce these crashes. It seems to me that video related content triggers it more likely. But that's just a guess. Happened a lot while watching YouTube.
I totally understand that this bug report is very vague and unsatisfying, but there is a severe problem somewhere with this new Firefox 144. It always crashes after some time. And if everybody just silently waits because it's hard to reproduce it's unlikely to get fixed. :-)
I've submitted two crash reports (see Additional Information).
Maybe others see this bug and can provide more details and how to reproduce.

Same here with firefox-144.0-1 and firefox-144.0-2, also on X11.
I cannot reproduce it reliably either; a tab that crashes, won't crash again upon reloading. I think I got crashes with animated GIFs as well, not just videos.
