Description Matthew Arnold 2025-10-18 16:34:26 UTC
Although i've never been an official packager in Fedora. I've done this sort of thing in Debian/Ubuntu/Slackware, and most recently Haiku OS. I can report that the rawhide sources build cleanly on a fresh EL10 installation.. via `rpmbuild -bb` So if no one wishes to maintain it i can do so. Just need someone to show me the ropes as it were. There is also a new upstream version that someone may wish to look into

Cheers and a Blessed Autumn
-Matt

Thanks for the info about the new upstream version. I am pushing the updates right now for the maintained branches. The new release are mostly a code documentation enhancements and the Ghostscript command line default updated, the later one allows me to remove one of the patches this package adds. Sadly the other patches the previous maintainer wrote aren't there yet

I don't have a EPEL10 system to test, can you test rebuilding and see if it works https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-fe42df6ee3

Comment 2 Matthew Arnold 2025-10-21 12:44:46 UTC
