Description Bastien Nocera 2007-05-18 09:02:57 UTC
gdm-2.18.0-14.fc7

Currently, the icon and name show like:
---- User Name
| |
----

But it should vertically center it:
----
| | Use name
----

You might be able to show an italicised username below the user name if
centering it is cumbersome.

Comment 1 Ray Strode [halfline] 2007-05-18 15:17:51 UTC
So we're probably not going to fix this for fedora 7, and I believe Jon is doing
a completely new userlist widget upstream, so let's just punt for now. If that
falls through we can revisit this.

Comment 2 Will Woods 2007-05-18 15:22:07 UTC
I'd prefer something like:

-----
| | User's Real Name
| | username - other GECOS info
-----

So that we can put extra info in one of the GECOS fields (or elsewhere) for
comments on user accounts, e.g. "Click here to log in" for the 'fedora' user on
the Live CD. Just a thought.

Comment 3 Ray Strode [halfline] 2007-05-18 15:24:16 UTC
Well, the gecos field isn't standardized, so there isn't really anyway we could
reliably do that.
