gvisor-tap-vsock does not use `crypto/x509` code directly, however, it could be using it indirectly through one of its vendored components, for example `miekg/dns` or `x/crypto/ssh`.
Since this is fixed by rebuilding the package with a fixed go version, it’s safer to do this.
