Description andreas.gruber@outlook.it 2025-11-24 19:58:34 UTC
Since I Update to Fedora 43 (according to the Documentation)
When I Shut down with Install pending software updates checked.
The system does nothing.
I go to the Power menu and click Shutdown, then it shuts down instantly (without any countdown or warning).
I have to manually boot the pc next time.
On the next boot, the Updates will be installed, then the PC shuts down.
I have to manually boot again to use the PC.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click Power menu.
2. Check Install pending software updates
3. Click Shutdown
Actual Results:
Nothing.

Expected Results:
Shut Down and install pending software updates.

Thanks for a bug report. This had been already reported as bug #2411715 and a fix landed in the gnome-session recently.
